Autistic Singer Kodi Lee Wins 'America's Got Talent' Season 14
Lee was born with optic nerve hypoplasia which led to his blindless. He also suffers from Addison’s Disease and is autistic.

The blind and autistic singer, Kodi Lee won America’s Got Talent, including $1m cash prize and his own show at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

The 23-year-old singer surprised everyone after he sang Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You”. lee was Gabrielle Union’s first Golden Buzzer in the show.

She also praised his performance by saying, “I’m a new judge this season and also a new mom this year. It’s the toughest job I’ve ever had and the most rewarding job I’ve ever had. You just want to give your kids the moon and stars and rainbows, and tonight I’m going to give you something special.”

He also received a standing ovation from all the judges and the audience after his first performance ended. Judge Simon Cowell said, “What happened was extraordinary. I’m going to remember this moment for the rest of my life.”

During the live final on Tuesday Kodi Lee amazed the crowd with his rendition of Freya Riding’s “Lost Without You”. Lee also performed You Are The Reason by Calum Scott, with Leona Lewis.

Simon Cowell complimented the singer and said, “One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever, ever heard. That was as good as I’ve ever heard.”

After winning the show, Lee thanked his fans for their support on Instagram. He wrote, “Thank you so much for all the votes!!!! I can’t believe I’m the winner of #agt !!! I felt your love and support all season and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!!! #agtfinale #love #changingtheworld.”

The Detroit Youth Choir came in second place.
