Manchester United to take Gareth Bale on loan from Real Madrid. Real Madrid rejects to pay £75m fee for the football great.
Manchester United at Old Trafford is considering a loan move for the Welshman, Gareth Bale. Real Madrid wants to get rid of their winger after the arrival of Eden Hazard. Zinedine Zidane, the manager of Real Madrid, made it clear that Bale has no future at Santiago Bernabeu. However, no one has had Bale on their list so far and his price tag means only a small number of clubs could afford him.
Recently, United and Spurs showed interest in the Welshman but both did not want to buy him at £75m. Despite, Manchester United offered to take him on loan paying him £500,000 a week with an option to extend the deal for a further 12 months.
United and Hazard
For United, it would enable them to have a top star in their side without having to pay a transfer fee. The signing of Hazard has made it clear that Bale is not in Zidane’s plans and the manager is desperate to get rid of him.
Surprisingly, Bale may have doubts over a move to Manchester United as they did not qualify for the Champions League.
United have got hands on a lot of young players this summer. Still, they would try to manage a deal for Bale, who earns £480,000-a-week at Real, just for the excitement of fans. This would put him in the same wage bracket as Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez is one of the top paid players of Manchester United.
For Madrid, a loan deal means that someone else would be paying the star his wages without having to leave Madrid permanently.
