3 year old Kamille Cupcake McKinney disappeared from a birthday party on Saturday.
Police have been searching for the small child since she went missing on Saturday. Witnesses said she left a party at Birmingham’s Tom Brown Village housing community with a woman in an SUV.
The police searched the apartment complex about 7 miles from where she vanished. An amber alert was also issued, with the police saying the missing Alabama girl was in extreme danger.
Although they did not find her, they did take two people into custody. They did not get any information but until Wednesday, the police said they were “still being questioned by our investigators.”
Kamille’s father Dominic said to the public via CNN, “Drop her off anywhere and let her out. Somebody will see her. Everybody knows what’s going on. That will be the end of that. We just want the baby back.”
The Alabama government offered a $5000 reward for information about the child’s arrest. A private individual offered another $1000.
On Wednesday, Birmingham Police Chief Patrick Smith said, “We believe that you know where she is and we believe that someone has her. Please bring this to a safe end and place her back into the arms of her family.”
The offered reward has been increased by the Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama to $20,000. The chief said anyone can drop her off to a police station, fire station or hospital and will have “safe passage.”
Chairman of Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama Frank Barefield said, “So, you could literally call with your tip today, pick up your money in cash next week and you’re totally anonymous. There’s no better deal in town than that.”
The Amber Alert revealed that the missing Alabama girl Kamilla is 3 feet tall, weighs 60 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.
