Kevin Spacey’s Accuser Dies in The Middle of Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Kevin Spacey's team recently announced that accuser has died: John Doe claimed that Spacey sexually harrased him during a massage in 2016 in Malibu.

Kevin Spacey’s accuser, a male massage therapist who accused Spacey of sexual assault, has died before the case against the Oscar winner could go to court.

The victim was listed as John Doe in his sexual assault application. He said Spacey had groped him in October 2016 in Malibu. His suit claimed that during a massage, Spacey asked him to touch his genitals and asked him to perform oral sex afterward. He sued for sexual battery, gender violence, battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment.

Spacey denied all the allegations brought against him.

His lawyers revealed in a filing that the victim passed away. No details were given beyond the fact that it was “recent”. Doe’s lawyer Genie Harrison said the fact that his death was revealed in a filing was “undignified, insensitive and inappropriate”.

She said, “Filing the notice yesterday was unnecessary and contemptible. I’m not surprised, however, that Spacey prematurely filed the notice in an attempt to gain the advantage of a ticking clock.”

“Mr Doe’s family must now open his estate at the same time as planning a funeral and processing their grief,” she added, saying, “His fight for justice is still very much alive.”

Spacey faces a total of 6 sexual assault allegations against him from 1996 and 2013. He was one of the most public figures accused in the MeToo movement after Harvey Weinstein. One of the cases against him was dropped last year when the victim stopped cooperating.

Before his accuser died, Kevin Spacey’s pre-trial conference for this assault case was scheduled for May next year.
