Dwayne Johnson has ended his honeymoon with wife Lauren Hashian early to support his close friend, Kevin Hart, after his horrific car accident.
Dwayne Johnson, 47, and his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, 34, got married last month.The duo started seeing each other back in 2006 and share 2 children together.
The newly married couple were off to their honeymoon. However, Dwayne decided to cut the trip short to fill in for his close friend, Kevin Hart. Dwayne went in place of Hart on the first episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show while Hart recovers from his injuries.
The Night School actor got into a horrific car accident while on Mulholland Highway this week. Hart suffered from many injuries including “major back injuries” according to CNN.
Dwayne, like many, expressed his concern for Hart. He posted a photo with Hart on Instagram and wrote, “Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real. We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong.”
Moreover, Dwayne decided to leave his honeymoon early and help his Central Inelegance co star out. “When my son @KevinHart4real goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in. I did leave my honeymoon early (Lauren approved cos she LOVES Kelly) and now me and Kelly are new best friends,” he wrote on Twitter.
Fans loved Dwayne’s gesture for his friend, Hart. They expressed their admiration for the former wrestler for being a great friend and were really happy to see him appear on the new show.
Kevin Hart’s car accident gave many fans and celebrities a scare. The 40year-old was reportedly seated on the passenger seat while Jared S. Black was driving the car. Black’s fiancée, Rebecca Broxterman was seated in the back seat.
His wife addressed the situation and told TMZ, about about how he was doing. Eniko Parrish said, “He’s great, he’s going to be just fine. He’s good. Everybody’s good, thank god.”
In a press release after the crash, more details regarding the accident were uncovered. “Black immediately lost control of the vehicle and the Plymouth left the road and rolled over down the northern embankment,” it stated.
“The driver was located in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and determined not to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision,” the press release added.
