The cast of the 90s movie ‘Clueless’ reunited and fans are freaking out. The reunion included Paul Rudd, Alicia Silverstone, Donald Faison, and Breckin Meyer.
The cast of the iconic 90s film, Clueless, reunited on Saturday at a panel during the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2). Alicia Silverstone played Cher Horowitz, Paul Rudd played Josh Lucas, Donald Faison played Murray Duvall and Breckin Meyer played the role of Travis Birkenstock.
The “Clueless Reunion Panel” came together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the film. Fans were extremely excited to meet the cast and asked them about their experience in playing the characters. Silverstone said, “I loved playing Cher. It was such a fun character and working with these guys — every one of them was so much fun. I didn’t know who that girl was, so it was really fun to be her. Because it wasn’t, like, how I lived my life.”
The cast also talked about fellow cast member Brittany Murphy who passed away in 2009 at the age of 32 years old. Both Silverstone and Murphy mentioned that “She was so good” and “ridiculously talented.”
Donald Faison reminisced about his scenes by saying, “I remember that day because that was the day I got to kiss Stacy Dash…So, I had prepared myself.”
He added, “I like to believe that this is how it would be nowadays…I think you guys would still be together if we were to ever do a sequel…”
Paul Rudd was asked the secret behind his youthful looks and he joked, “I’m 80 years old on the inside. It is a mess underneath all this.”
The film was an adaptation of Jane Austen’s famous book Emma.
