The fourth installment of the film is amazing, inside out. Toy Story 3 is almost a decade old now, and it wrapped everything with a great ending. However, the franchise still hasn’t lost its huge audience and large appeal. As per this writing, the film received 80 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and surprisingly, all of them are fresh. The sample size is small in regard to views, and it will fall out of its perfect rating as we advance.

Woody and the toy gang are set to return in just a week’s time. Although the film was already highly anticipated, the 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes has increased the excitement of the fans. To achieve a 100% score mark is a rare feat for any movie, especially when it is the fourth installment in the series. Lead actor Tom Hanks has played the character of sarcastic cowboy Woody for over 20 years now.

Forky, is the new addition to the film. From the trailers, many people started getting emotionally attached to this new character. Additionally, the idea of Woody reuniting with Bo Peep seems to be an indication of coming full circle.

Breaking Records

At the moment, the film is looking for a good $200 million dollar opening. If it happens, it would surpass Pixar’s own Incredibles 2 and its three day total of $182.6 million. The film has already broken a record for most tickets pre-sold for an animated film, again outselling Incredibles 2.

Josh Cooley is the director of this masterpiece. He took over from John Lasseter, who is accountable for the previous three versions. Lasseter left Pixar last year following a string of misconduct allegations. Toy Story 4 is ready to arrive in theaters on June 21. It is expected to earn large sums of money, giving a much-needed boost to the summer box office.
