This series started in 2017 and its first season was a total hit. It featured four families in the German town of Winden and their weird interconnections that led to crazy moments. The story peaked when the children went missing. Netflix has now released the Dark Season 2 trailer to mixed reaction.

Netflix has called the new season ‘mind bending’. Season 2 will address the disappearance of the children at its onset. In addition, it will have clues about the mysterious cave under the local nuclear power plant that confused fans in Season 1.

The trailer shows young Jonas trying to find answers as he is thrown from 2020 to 2052. Additionally, it highlights the inevitable apocalypse in the near future and whether anything can be done to stop it.

Additionally, Netflix revealed that the show will be a trilogy. This means that there is a third season to look forward to. Also, Netflix promised new characters in the season. Fans are hoping that the questions left unanswered in Season 1 will be addressed in Season 2. The season will have 8 episodes, all in different timelines.
