Zac Efron has made a drastic change from the appearance he had while playing serial killer Ted Bundy, and now has shockingly platinum blonde hair.
The 31-year-old actor showed off his new look after weeks of keeping it on the down-low. On his Instagram, he has been teasing fans with sneak peeks of blonde hair hidden underneath caps. The new hairdo has made its official debut at the Sundance Film Festival.
Over the last few weeks, Efron showed off his lightened hair while playing volleyball with his friends, while vacationing in Mexico and while talking about his New Year’s Resolutions regarding fitness.
Efron appeared at the festival along with Lily Collins and other cast members to talk about their new film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile about serial killer Ted Bundy. A recent documentary called Conversations with a Serial Killer has also released to mark the 30 years since the execution of Bundy.
The actor has been experimenting with his look for quite some time. Efron posted a picture in March in which his hair was in stripes across his face. He was rocking frosted tips with a few different shades of blonde. Back in July, Efron got dreadlocks ‘just for fun’, stirring up some controversy because of how people felt it represented appropriation and insensitivity.
Maybe the new hair is a sign of a new upcoming role announcement for Efron?
