YouTuber Austin Jones has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on child pornography charges. The former online creator was arrested two years ago.
Austin Jones has been sentenced to 10 years in prison with an additional 8 years of supervised release. Again WISH he would have gotten harsher but I’ll take this.

26-year-old Jones became famous for his acapella covers that he posted on YouTUbe. Back in June 2017, he was arrested for two counts of production of child pornography, and in February, he pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography. After his arrest, Jones was released from custody on a $100,000 bond and was ordered to stay at home and not conduct any online activity.
A spokesman for the Chicago US Attorney’s office, Joseph Fitzpatrick, told E!, “Austin Jones was sentenced this afternoon to 10 years in prison with 8 years of supervised release, which is essentially probation. Jones will be back in court on Monday where a judge will determine when he will begin serving his sentence. It’s possible the judge could send him to prison as soon as Monday.”
The only irritating thing is that all the pics I have seen of Austin Jones are of him looking sweet and innocent. We do not need to show pics of him looking nice. It creates sympathy for him. Why don’t we show the pics of him when he posted bail. Show who he actually is. https://t.co/8LEQnIxuOT

Jones plea agreement detailed that he received sexually explicit videos from underage girls in 2016 and 2017, and he additionally told one girl to prove she was his biggest fan by making those videos. The agreement also revealed that Jones asked underage girls 30 different times to send him sexually explicit content on Facebook’s messenger.
