Khloe Kardashian defended her daughter True Thompson against racist followers, but got dragged in the comment section herself.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had daughter True with Tristan Thompson on April 12. Since her birth, Kardashian has often taken to social media to defend her daughter against critics and unfair accusations. After Khloe recently replied to a follower, the critic deleted their initial comment.
Kardashian then took to Twitter to write, “I dislike the fact that people are allowed to comment on my daughter’s skin color but as soon as I comment kindly back and praise her for all that she is, the comment gets erased. If you have the courage to post your nasty criticism, please allow one to defend or comment back.”
She added, “We need to learn to praise all skin tones/ethnicities! Our beauty is in our differences. We can learn so much! So proud of every human who is confident in who they are. I’m in my 30s I think I’m just finding this confidence. So I am patient with others. But allow me to voice mine.”
She replied to an additional fans comment, saying, “I try to put myself in their shoes &maybe they were brought up in a different type of household then I was. So instead of shaming I try to educate. In our household we do not see color. We see emotion and action. We see love. We feed off of energy.”
Fans immediately pin-pointed the fact that Kardashian wrote ‘we do not see color’. They thought it was insensitive of Kardashian to ignore the fact that her daughter is colored, and pointed out that this ignorance made her ill-equipped to deal with the realities of racism in the world True is a part of.

She thought! people are going to ignore that when that’s actually adding to the problem. That’s being colorblind. She should be seeing her child as a BLACK girl who’s gonna be a BLACK woman in society. But I won’t expect her to know she’s not even black. White women man..?

You are a liar Khloe. The only people who don’t see color are blind people. You exclusively date black men and wanted biracial babies because you SEE color. You’re trying to be politically correct but it’s not working. Your actions show otherwise sis

I think your daughter is beautiful and it’s disgusting ppl come at her but saying, “we do not see color” is damaging. The world sees color, what needs changing is the racist ideas that lighter is better. She needs to grow up knowing she’s a strong, beautiful, woman of color.

I know what you mean by “we don’t see color” but saying that doesn’t make it true. We all see color and today we don’t is kinda treating color like it’s a problem that must be ignored. Kinda like how people treat people with disabilities saying they don’t see then as disabled.

True Thompson will soon be 6 months old.
