His hint proved to be true as the trailer dropped during the half-time advertisement of the FIFA Women’s World Cup final on Sunday (July 7). The match occurred between the USA and Holland.
He further wrote. “If you want to hear tidbits and facts from the production as we move towards Mulan’s release, feel free to let people know and drop dat follow. This project was such a labor of love by every single department and the thousands of people working on it. There’s a lot to share :)”
The newer version of Mulan looks a lot different than the 1998 version. The live-action film will not use the famous soundtrack from the original film. Also, fan-favorite characters of Mushu and Li Shang will not be present and a few changes to the story have also been made. Hence, it is unclear whether the movie will be able to appeal to the audience or not.
Mulan is scheduled for release on March 27, 2020.
