Taylor Swift makes it to the list of highest paid celebrities. According to Forbes 2019 list, she topped with $185 Million.
According to Forbes, Taylor Swift tops the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. Over the course of last year, her pretax income of $185 million is her highest earnings total yet. Previously, Swift topped the list in 2016 with the help of her 1989 World Tour, but this year marks the biggest earnings for the star.
Taylor Swift has topped Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities. She left behind the likes of Kylie Jenner and Kanye West, who came on 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. West, the husband of Kim Kardashian, returned to the list after a four-year absence. Forbes estimated his pre-tax earnings at $150m. This was driven mostly by his popular Yeezy sneaker line, putting him in third place. Kim Kardashian is ranked at no. 26 on the list.
The list ranked the world’s highest earning stars from different aspects including music, sports, and entertainment. However, Swift topped it with an estimated $185 million in earnings. Whereas, Jenner amassed $170 million and West earned $150 million.
Jenner, 21, the half-sister of Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian, came in second place. Her online lip kits and cosmetics company earned her the second spot. Earlier this year Forbes declared Jenner to be the world’s youngest billionaire.
Moreover, six actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe also found themselves included in the list. These include Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, and Paul Rudd. Their inclusion in the list is a result of the success of Avengers: Endgame.
Moreover, footballers Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar also feature in the top 10 alongside rock veterans The Eagles and TV personality Dr. Phil.
Ed Sheeran earned fifth place in the list. He is the highest-ranking Briton with an estimated pre-tax earnings of $110m. South Korean group BTS is ranked at 43 and Ariana Grande at 62 are the new entries to this year’s list. Actor Paul Rudd found himself at no. 83. The 50-year-old is estimated to have made as much as the Rolling Stones. An estimated $41m (£32m) – in a year that saw him star in both Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame.
The singer and songwriter will release her seventh studio album, Lover, on Aug. 23 . Furthermore, she will announce her next tour soon.
