The Spice Girls tour has been dropped after the s** controversy between Mel B and Geri Horner, which Mel claimed happened 20 years ago.
The girl group was scheduled to perform in America, Australia, and the Far East after their British dates ended on June 15 but because of feuding between the members, the international dates were canceled.
The Mail reported that a number of dates for around the world have now been shelved. 43-year-old Mel B is angry at Geri Horner after the latter denied that they went to bed together.
While speaking to Piers Morgan, Mel B nodded when Morgan said, “Did you sleep with Geri?” She added, “She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh in a country house but it wasn’t a ‘thing’, it just happened, we just giggled at it and that was it. We were best friends. It just happened.”
Piers added, “This is a Spice Girls bombshell. You have never admitted this before, have you? People are going to be fascinated.” Mel answered, “Yeah and I’ve said it now. She is going to kill me and so is her husband.”
A source later told The Mirror after Horner denied the allegations, “It has been a hugely dramatic week. At one point last Sunday, the tour wasn’t happening. They agreed that they had to do the British dates because they are under contract and they don’t want to let their fans down, but there won’t be any more. There had been plans to keep it going but no more.”
The Spice Girls have not made any formal announcements on the subject.
