Ryan Reynolds gave the best response to a follower on Instagram, who criticized him for bringing children from Make a Wish Foundation to the sets of Deadpool 2.
Ryan Reynolds has amused his fans many times by trolling his wife on social media handles and posting hilarious statuses. One could say, he truly is the King of the Internet.
Ryan uploaded a picture on his Instagram handle with children battling cancer from Make a Wish Foundation. The children visited the sets of Deadpool 2 and got to spend a day with Mr. Reynolds.
Along with the picture, he wrote, “One of the best parts of playing the Big Red Jackass is welcoming @makeawishamerica and @childrenswishfoundation onto set. Deadpool kicked Cancer in the taint, but these kids do it for real every day.
These foundations make dreams come true for a lot of super-brave kids. They also make dreams come true for parents, who just wanna see their kid smile. HUGE thanks to our Prop Master, Dan Sissons, for making sure every kid left with his/her own sword. (Bamboo versions. Not stabby-stabby versions.)”
His effort and love for the children was lauded and appreciated by many around the world. However, there was one fan who was not onboard with the idea.
He said, “Guys, Deadpool is an R rated movie and those kids are watching it…. I think something is wrong here.”
While it is not common for a celebrity to respond to comments on their social media handle, this guy got a piece of Ryan’s mind.
Ryan clapped back with an apt response and said, “Yup. Deadpool is Rated R. If my kid went through a fraction of the sh*t these kids deal with daily, I think they can watch whatever they like. That’s just my .02 cents”
There were others though, who praised him for his kind gesture towards the kids.
One said, “Life and social media done right! An amazing platform to provide these brave kids with an unforgettable experience. Well done sir!”
Another praised and said, “Love love love this! I’m praying for each child to make a full and complete recovery. Thank you for sharing your time with them.”
A third stated, “Amazing! Making someone smile is the best medicine anyone can give… especially when it’s a kid!”
Ryan has also trolled his beautiful wife, Blake Lively, in the past.
In 2017, on Blake’s birthday, Ryan wished his wife Happy birthday and cropped her out of the photo.
Another time, Ryan uploaded a picture of Black Lively dressed shabbily for her role in the movie Rhythm Section and titled it ‘#nofilter’
Well, his wife too strikes back and cracks jokes on her beloved husband.
On Ryan’s birthday, Blake uploaded a picture of her husband and Ryan Gosling and cropped Reynolds out of the photo!
Another time Blake uploaded a photo and hilariously captioned it, “Congratulations to the most influential person in my life. The best man I know… you deserve this @time 100 honor… If only my husband wasn’t blocking you in this shot. I’m so sorry @johnlegend.” Good ole’ Blake Lively!
