The new addition to the Williams’ family is nearly five years after the legendary star passed. He died at the age of 63 in August 2014 by suicide.
Robin shared his eldest son with his first wife, Valerie Velardi. The pair divorced in 1988 following 10 years of marriage.
The Oscar winner later welcomed daughter Zelda and son Cody, 27, with second wife Marsha Garces. The two split in 2008. The comedian wed his third wife, Susan Schneider Williams, in 2011.
Zak previously opened up about his father in Dave Itzkoff’s biography, Robin. He shared, “I’m kicking myself for not visiting him during that time. Because I think that was a very lonely period for him. In retrospect, I feel like I should have been there, spending time with him. Because someone who needs support was not getting the support he needed.” Robin at that time lived alone in an apartment in Los Angeles.
However, Zak has been a mental health advocate for quite some time.
He recently appeared in photographer Mariangela Abeo’s “Faces of Fortitude” project. The project showcased people who have lost loved ones to suicide.
Olivia June is the CEO of the Hey! Vina app. It is a social media platform referred to as “tinder for (girl) friends.”
