On Wednesday, Director Tarantino revealed that his new “Star Trek” movie will be R- rated.  He also declared that the movie will contain a lot of profanity. Tarantino is at work on his latest movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood which will be released on July 26. He surprised the fans when they got to know that the director is entering the sci-fi franchise which appeals to a more general audience.

Ahead of the release of his ninth film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino spoke to Empire about Star Trek. He confirmed that a script actually exists.

When asked if his Star Trek movie would be offensive, Tarantino replied: “Oh yeah! It’s an R-rated movie. If I do it, it’ll be R-rated.”

He also said: “There’s a script that exists for it now. I need to weigh in on it, but I haven’t been able to do that yet.”

Tarantino is one of the most famous directors alive today. His films tend to be heavy on bloody violence, colorful language, and other hallmarks that will not go with Star Trek.

Busy Tarantino!

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is just around the corner so he is busy working there. After its release, Tarantino will start on his first sci-fi feature. If Tarantino does call the shots on Star Trek, it would mark his tenth directorial effort, and in the past, he has talked about retiring after making 10 films.
