Prince Philip is all good after a car accident that took place close to Sandringham estate

Prince Philip is uninjured and totally healthy after suffering through a car accident that took place near Sandringham Estate.

The Duke of Edinburgh, who will turn 98 in July of this year, experienced a car crash on Thursday. A representative from Buckingham Palace told E! that the Prince is now doing alright.

The accident happened near the Sandringham Estate, which is Queen Elizabeth’s private home. The Prince and the Queen have been staying in the 20,000-acre house in the Norfolk Area since the Christmas holidays.

The spokesperson said, “The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle this afternoon. The Duke was not injured.”

The Norfolk Police confirmed that right before 3 PM on Thursday, police were called to the Estate “following reports of a collision involving two cars.” Another spokesperson said that the police and ambulances reached the scene shortly, and one of the people involved in the crash had minor injuries.

ITV published photos of the accident. They show a black Range Rover overturned on the road. However, it is not clear who this car belongs to and whether the Prince was in this car or it was the car of whoever he crashed with.

Prince Philip apparently met with a doctor right after the crash. It was confirmed that he had not suffered any injuries and was perfectly fine.
