Princess Eugenie posted a black and white picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle walking out of St. George’s Hall with Archie with the caption, “I’m just so happy for you!!” Back when the couple joined Instagram last month, she posted a picture from their engagement shoot from November 2017 and wrote, “Welcome cousins.”
While most royals do not have person social media accounts, Princess Eugenie does and launched it around March of 2018. She is likely allowed to have an account because she does not have a formal working role in the family. She accompanies her father on official duties but does not have a role of her own, unlike her cousins Prince William, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
Over 130,000 people liked her photo, and over 1000 people commented to echo her congratulations to her family. One of her fans commented under her photo, “The world can’t wait till your turn.” Another person wrote, “Elated doesn’t even begin to touch it…I’m SO HAPPY for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and your entire family! Congratulations!” Yet another said, “I love this picture! Harry looked so happy when he made the announcement. What a sweet little family.”
Princess Eugenie works as an art director at London Art Gallery Hauser & Wirth.
