HBO‘s Leaving Neverland has exposed the previously settled claims of Wade Robson and James Safechuck against Michael Jackson in which they say that he used to sexually abuse them as children. They said that their experiences as children with him left serious imprints on their growth and development.

The documentary has disturbed many viewers and especially fans of the singer who said that the documentary was ‘one-sided’ and not based on facts. As well as worrying about the effects the documentary could have on Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson and her acting career.

While Paris has not made any detailed comments regarding the documentary, she did say on Twitter that she did not think it was possible to tear down Michael Jackson, despite the fact that several radio stations refuse to play the stars music. Reports also say that Paris has not watched the Leaving Neverland documentary and does not plan to.

Replying to a Twitter user who said that Jackson’s legacy has been “ruined and his name smeared forever”, Jackson wrote, “Yeah they do that to everyone with a good heart and tries to make a difference, but do you really think that it’s possible to tear his name down? Like do you truly believe they stand a chance? Relax and have peace.”

Paris also addressed the allegations of child abuse against her father back in 2017 during an interview with Rolling Stones. She said, “Picture your parent crying to you about the world hating him for something he didn’t do. For me, he was the only thing that mattered. To see my entire world in pain, I started to hate the world because of what they were doing to him. I’m like, ‘How can people be so mean?'”
