The US actress has gone into labor this morning. The baby was due to arrive in late April, however, the due date passed by and there was no sign of the royal baby.
The news was announced on Twitter officially. The statement read, “Official confirmation from Buckingham Palace that the Duchess of Sussex went into labour in the early hours of this morning #RoyalBaby.”

According to the statement Prince Harry is with Meghan Markle during this time. The Prince was supposed to leave for Amsterdam but changed his plans after his wife went into labor. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their pregnancy back in October and they got married earlier in May. Even though they kept details of the baby secret, recently it was revealed that Markle wanted a natural birth in the comfort of their residence, Frogmore Cottage.
A source told Vanity Fair recently, “Meghan has been having regular acupuncture sessions to help her unwind and relax. It’s brilliant for the blood circulation and boosting blood flow to the uterus. She plans to use acupuncture right up to her due date.”
However, her plans were shattered when the baby did not arrive at the due date. Since then, doctors recommended that Markle give birth at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey to avoid any complications. The hospital is 15 miles from Frogmore Cottage.
Markle’s mother Doria Ragland is also present at the hospital. She arrived in Windsor last month and has been staying with the Duke and Duchess at Frogmore Cottage.
The baby will be seventh in line to the throne.
