Kevin’s DNA Testing

Kardashian wore a black outfit for the meeting while Cooper wore a standard blue prison-issue top. After the meeting, Kardashian posted photos of her and Cooper. She tweeted, “I am hopeful that Kevin will be exonerated since DNA testing has now been ordered on Kevin’s case and I remain grateful to Governor Newsom for ending capital punishment in California.”

Cooper has pleaded not guilty since his arrest. Furthermore, back in 2018, Kardashian wrote on Twitter asking California’s Governor Brown to look further into Kevin Cooper’s case. She wrote, “Governor Brown, please add Kevin Cooper to your legacy of smart, fair and thoughtful criminal justice reforms.”

so, the new Governor Newsom ordered additional DNA testing this year. However, authorities are still waiting for the results of those tests.

Above all, this is not the first time Kardashian has helped inmates. She also took an interest in Alice Marie Johnson’s case in the past who was in jail for a minor drug offense. However, President Donald Trump commuted her sentence last year after Kim took action.
