Jennifer Lawrence plans to change her last name after getting married. The actress talks about her wedding plans with fiance Cooke Maroney.
Lawrence became engaged to Maroney after a few months of dating in February. Laura Simpson, Lawrence’s close friend, introduced the art dealer to her. She shared details on NAKED with Catt Sadler podcast.
On marrying Maroney
The 28 year old previously commented on her engagement when she attended attended the premiere of X-Men: Dark Phoenix in Los Angeles. She talked about it for the first time in public to Entertainment Tonight “Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life.”
“It was a very, very easy decision.” She added. Lawrence shared on the podcast, “I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him.” The Hunger Games star explained, “We wanted to commit fully, and he’s my best friend.”

The actress said “Cooke is the greatest human being I’ve ever met, he really is. And he gets better. I know that sounds really stupid, but he is the greatest person I’ve ever met. I feel very honoured to be a Maroney.” She wants to fully commit to her fiance which includes changing her last name to his. She said, “I want to legally bind him to me forever and, fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing.”
She added, “It’s the greatest. You find your favourite person on the planet, you’re like, ‘You can’t leave.’ So, I wanted to take (him) up on that offer.”
The actress has not shared when she would be getting married.
