Hugh Jackman serves autographs and coffee to fans in Chicago. The star takes his fans by complete surprise.

Jackman is currently traveling around the United States for his tour of The Man. The Music. The Show. During the tour, he stopped by Chicago where he served coffee and gave autographs to fans.

The 5-year-old actor also shared photos of himself with his fans on Instagram on Friday. The pictures showed him offering cups of coffee from the inside of a black truck with the logo Laughing Man. He co-founded Laughing Man Coffee Company in 2011 with Steingard, a former criminal prosecutor in Brooklyn.

The Wolverine star captioned the pictures, “Big love to CHICAGO!! Thanks so much for turning out and spreading the @laughingmancafe love! @keurig#makeeverycupcount #allbehappy.”

Ryan Reynolds in Laughing Man Coffee

Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee has a storefront in New York City. Furthermore, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds paid a visit to the store in May 2018. After his visit, Jackman joked about Reynolds replying to their job listing for a barista.

He wrote on Instagram, “We put out word that @laughingmancoffee is looking for a new barista ….and, @vancityreynolds shows up? #makeeverycupcount.”

Later, the photo appeared again in one of the Laughing Man Coffee Shop’s Instagram Stories. The coffee shop wrote this message along with three laughing emojis, “Ok, he’s hired!”

In 2009, on a trip to Ethiopia, Jackman met a young coffee farmer named Dukale. Dukale’s goal was to get his family out of poverty. Jackman took inspiration from Dukale.  After his return to New York, he wanted to provide a marketplace where farmers in developing countries could sell their products in the United States.

Jackman then created the Laughing Man Foundation. The foundation aims to assist social entrepreneurs worldwide through educational programs and community development. All of Jackman’s profits go to the foundation.

The music tour

In May 2019 Jackman started his first world tour called, The Man. The Music. The Show. He will be performing songs from the album, The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The tour compromises of 88 shows. The singer will visit North America, Europe, and Oceania. Jackman began his tour from Glasgow, Scotland and will finish in San Antonio, United States in October 2019.

In the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours, Jackman has been appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia. His title is for “eminent service to the performing arts as an acclaimed actor and performer, global community, also particularly as an advocate for poverty eradication.”

Wolverine and other projects

The Australian actor has played Wolverine in the X-Men film series from 2000- 2018. He also holds the Guinness World Record for “longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero.” Jackman is also recognized for his lead roles in films such as Kate & LeopoldVan Helsing, The Prestige. Furthermore, The Fountain, AustraliaLes MisérablesPrisoners, The Greatest Showman. He received a Grammy Award for Best Soundtrack Album in Greatest Showman.  His work in Les Misérables earned him his first Academy Award nomination for best actor and his second Golden Globe award for best actor.
