Trump beat Clinton in the 2016 race by winning 307 out of the 270 needed electoral votes while she won 232. This was counteracted by the fact that Clinton won the popular vote by 2.8 million votes.

The Clinton-Trump rivalry that the world witnessed in full swing in 2016 was back on display for the world to see on Twitter on Tuesday after the POTUS commented on Clinton’s decision not to run for the White House in 2020.

Trump tweeted out, “‘(Crooked) Hillary Clinton confirms she will not run in 2020, rules out a third bid for White House.’ Aw-shucks, does that mean I won’t get to run against her again. She will be sorely missed!”

Clinton, who maintained a policy of completely ignoring Trump’s digs at her during the 2016 presidential run, wrote, “Why are you so obsessed with me?” along with a GIF from the 2004 teen movie Mean Girls.

Clinton’s followers loved the response, with one adding another Mean Girls reference by writing, “He’s trying to make ‘Crooked’ happen. Stop trying to make “Crooked” happen, Donald”. Another wrote, “O….M….G!!!!!! Hillary you truly are the queen of shade!”

Yet another follower wrote, “Let not your heart be troubled President Trump – there are dozens of Democrat loons, crackpots and degenerates chomping at the bit to take her place – and be your debate punching bag in 2020!”
