Foo Fighters’ youngest fan will melt your heart. The rock band invited Taylor on stage during their show.
The Foo Fighters played at the Vital Festival at Boucher Road Playing Fields in the Northern Irish capital yesterday. The band invited 5-year-old Taylor on stage during their show in Belfast. They played their 2002 hit song All My Life while the little one danced with them.
The lead singer of the American rock band, Dave Grohl encouraged Taylor to “show them how to dance!”
Taylor’s mother, Nikki, told Belfast Live, “We are insanely proud of our wee man. We’re still in shock. My phone has been going mad with friends and family contacting us after seeing it.”
“He’s actually named after drummer Taylor Hawkins so we had to take him to the Foos for his first gig,” she further said.
She also said, “He’s been listening to them since he was born – mainly because me and his dad are massive fans. We were going to the gig with friends from across the UK, and we thought it would be fun to bring our son with us.”
“We contacted the event promoters and they said it would be no problem, but that we should be aware it would be a loud music event, so we got Taylor some special headphones,” she added.
“When we got there, everyone was so welcoming to him,” Nikki concluded.
The band is currently planning to release their new album. The drummer Taylor Hawkins told Rocksound, “From what I’ve heard from our fearless leader Dave Grohl, he has a lot of demos that he’s worked on and I think we’ll start, once this tour is over. I think not too soon after that we’ll start the process of putting the songs together as a band.”
“It’s a long process, we do a lot of demoing and stuff, but I think that we’ll have, I’m hoping, I think we’ll have a new record by next year. We should,” he added.
This will be their 10th studio album.
