Emilia Clarke sarcastically burned Kit Harington for complaints regarding Game of Thrones filming during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The Game of Thrones actress made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to help promote the release of the new and last season of the famous fantasy television show.
The television series is shot all over the world including Croatia, Malta, Iceland, and Morocco. Colbert mentioned that her co-star Kit Harington was on the show and complained about his working conditions to which Clarke laughed and said, “It’s cold weather in Iceland. There are short filming hours.”
The 32-year-old added, “Whereas I’m in a quarry in Malta in 100-degree heat, passing out every single season because I have two sets of hair on my head. Kit is always complaining that he’s got it worst, and he’s definitely got it better. He’s drinkin’ by 2 p.m. because there’s only two hours of daylight. We’re in a quarry until 11 p.m. being like, ‘Go down sun, go down; I’m hot!’”
The Mother of Dragons also mentioned that she had revealed the ending of the show to her mother. She said, “I’ve got to be honest, I did, I did, not just my dog, I told my—I wasn’t supposed…I told my mom, but the good thing about telling my mom these things is she’s a vault because she’s just done forgotten it—I told her.”
Clarke recently revealed that during filming she had suffered through two aneurysms and was also hospitalized. She said it was scary, and added, “But then at some point you start to realize how lucky you are…and the perspective that gives you is enormous and then that is for the rest of your life, you’re lucky, you don’t know how lucky you are.”
The final season of Game of Thrones premieres on April 14.
