Taylor Swift has revealed that her 7th Studio album is titled ‘Lover’. She also released her new single “You need to calm down.”
The singer has revealed her new album’s title, release date, the name and release date of her new single. She told her fans details in an Instagram Live stream on Thursday. Swift also mentioned that her new album is called Lover, and it will be released on August 23 as per Republic.
However, four deluxe special editions of the album will be available. All of which will be available at Target and on her official website. The album will feature 18 tracks, more than any of Swift’s previous albums.

“This album, in tone, it’s very romantic and not just simply thematically, like it’s all love songs or something,” Swift added. “I think the idea of something being romantic, it doesn’t have to be a happy song. I think you can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through a conflict or dealing with things in your life. ” Furthermore, she said, “I think it just kind of looks at those things with a very romantic gaze.”

Earlier this month, Swift wrote a letter to Tennessee’s Republican Senator Lamar Alexander to support the Equality Act. “The fact that, legally, some people are completely at the mercy of the hatred and bigotry of others is disgusting and unacceptable,” she wrote.
