Donald Trump is helping ASAP Rocky get freed from the Swedish prison where he is being held. The POTUS promised the rapper he would be “home soon”.
ASAP Rocky’s situation
The rapper was detained in Sweden after he got into a fight with two men. Rocky said they were harassing his crew and would not stop following him around.
He posted a video of the incident on social media, claiming it was the men that started it all. However, he was taken by the police. Since then, he has been in custody for two weeks and has had to cancel a whole number of concerts.
Several celebrities have spoken out about the need to get him back home.

On Friday, the POTUS spoke at a press conference about the issue. He revealed that he had gotten personally invested in the situation after his wife Melania Trump asked him to step in.
He said, “A$AP Rocky is a situation in Sweden. Sweden’s a great country and they’re friends of mine, the leadership, and we are going to be calling, we’ll be talking to them, we’ve already started.”
He added, “Many, many members of the African-American community have called me, friends of mine, and said ‘Could you help?’ I personally don’t know A$AP Rocky but I can tell you that he has tremendous support from the African-American community in this country and when I say African-American, I think I can really say from everybody in this country because we are all one.”
He continued, “I have been called by so many people asking me to help A$AP Rocky. Actually the one who knew about A$AP Rocky was our First Lady, right? She was telling me about ‘Can you help A$AP Rocky?’
First Lady Melania Trump added, “We are working with the state department and we hope to get him home soon.”
Sources say the rapper will be held for another week while investigations continue.
