Chrissy Teigen has given birth to her second child! She tweeted on Wednesday, writing, “Somebody’s herrrrrrre!” and adding baby-related emojis. She and husband John Legend are ecstatic to welcome their new baby; John retweeted his wife’s announcement on his own account.
The new mom is obviously happy as she gets to finally hold her baby boy in her arms. Earlier, Chrissy tweeted she was already over being pregnant. Her pregnancy began in November last year and had been causing her a lot of pain. She admitted that it was a lot more difficult than the last time she was pregnant, which is why she wanted to get it over with quickly.
She was super excited just to meet her son! Her fans are rejoicing at the announcement and her page has been flooded with positive messages from all around the world. Chrissy herself has also been bursting with excitement for another very special reason.
The couple revealed that they would use IVF treatment to have a child, since Chrissy was unable to conceive naturally. Not only did they get the treatment done, Chrissy then found out she was pregnant only 11 days after she got done with the process.
Both were over the moon when they got to know the good news. “It feels worse for me because with IVF you know *so* early. I mean I knew I was pregnant at 11 days in. Crazy. (sic),” Chrissy tweeted previously.
Chrissy’s new baby joins her two-year-old daughter, Luna. The couple constantly share adorable photos of Luna, who seems to have a lot of energy and also owns one of the best wardrobes we have seen on anyone. While she’s a happy, bubbly two year old, John admitted that he is worried about how she will adjust to another baby in the house.
The soulful singer said that his daughter is used to being in charge of everything and is ‘currently running the house right now’. He also feels she has 100% rights to her parents’ attention, something which may become divided once the new baby comes home. “She’s used to being the center of everything right now so we’ll see how she adjusts to sharing the spotlight,” John said. He added that he hopes it will be a smooth transition but Luna is certain to feel some ‘growing pains’ because of it.
On the other hand, Chrissy also admitted she is worried about how she will divide her energy between her two kids. It was already hard when she was pregnant, since she felt a lot of pressure. John added, “You have to divide your energy between raising a kid and carrying one as well.” He indicated that the new mom will certainly feel tired out soon. All in all, we hope the couple can adjust well to their growing family.
Chrissy’s decision to undergo IVF treatment and add to their family was a difficult one. She was not only personally concerned, but also had to defend her decision from haters on the Internet. The model was attacked for going with IVF, with people assuming she didn’t want to try the natural method or that she was just trying to get out of physical intimacy with John.
did you give it a minute to try naturally or are you avoiding “the act?” At least no political rants!

The careless comment by the user got more than she bargained for when Chrissy made a sassy retort.
Hi Linda, thanks for asking, you complete witch. I tried for about 9 years. Anything else, let me know! https://t.co/54e9AvIqQ9
