Chris Hemsworth reveals his ‘brotherly bond’ with Avengers co-star Chris Evans. Hemsworth and Evans recently starred in Avengers: Endgame.
Chris Hemsworth recently did an exclusive interview for Variety and opened up about playing the God of Thunder in the Avengers series and regarding his upcoming movie with Tessa Thompson.
While talking about fellow co-star Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, Hemsworth revealed that they are extremely close. He stated, “With Chris Evans, I have a real brotherly bond. I think they wouldn’t pair us up on this press tour, because we just spend the whole time screwing around and none of it is on topic.”
Variety later talked to Evans about this statement to which he replied, “Which is such bulls—! We had too much fun together, and truly like kids in school, we were separated because we weren’t getting s— done.”
37-year-old Chris Evans also revealed that he wanted to do a non-Marvel movie with Chris Hemsworth saying, “I would love to do one of those 80s buddy comedies Evans said where we could shed the characters we are known for.”
The duo told PEOPLE that the first time they met, they stayed together till 7 AM. Hemsworth, 35, said, “Seriously. I think I went out and you’d just done your movie [Captain America: The First Avenger]. I was training for Thor and someone introduced us. We got home about 7 the next morning.”
Hemsworth will be starring in the new Men in Black movie.
