Chris Brown responds to being charged with 2 counts for keeping an exotic monkey without a permit in Los Angeles. He is rejecting all such allegations.

Singer, Chris Brown, has rejected all such allegations. According to him, the monkey does not belong to him. Brown claims it is a setup.

According to the authorities, Chris Brown kept this monkey named Fiji at his home without a permit.

According to the law, he can face serious repercussions for it. If proven guilty he will have to face 6-months jail time.

Chris explained that the video of his daughter, Royalty, playing with the monkey was shot in Vegas. A relative owned the monkey, not him.

He furthered explained that his cousin was in town. The monkey was present at his place. Authorities retrieved Fiji in those days. It was a coincidence.

The monkey was a Christmas present to his daughter back in 2017.

According to the Los Angeles authorities, Brown will face serious charges. He is being charged with possession of a restricted primate without a permit.

Brown introduced his new pet on social media. He shared a video of his daughter playing with the little monkey.

 Fiji, the monkey, was taken away from the Brown family. Chris Brown was not present at home. His staff handed Fiji to agents from the Department of Fish and Wildlife.

This is not the first time Brown has been in trouble with the authorities. He pleaded guilty for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.
