Cara Delevingne supports Taylor Swift’s decision to re-record her first six albums, and will repurchase them all when they’re released.
She seemed determined while revealing her decision during the interview with Tracy Smith. When asked about re-recording her early work, Taylor said, “Oh yeah.”
“That’s a plan?” Smith asked her. To which Taylor confirmed, “Yeah, absolutely.”
Soon after, Delevingne said she is excited about Taylor’s decision and showed her full support. During the premiere of TV series, Carnival Row, she shared with Access Hollywood, “I can’t wait to hear it.”
“It’s amazing to hear re-recorded stuff, especially when it’s a couple years later as well and I just think it’s, you know, she’s owning it. It’s great.” she added.
Furthermore, Cara told Entertainment Tonight, “She’s one of those women who [is] just relentless, endless fire.”
“[Taylor’s] not biting to draw blood, but biting when you need to bite. You need to stand up for yourself…. you’re defending yourself and being who you are and that’s what I love about her,” she continued.
In addition, Cara applauded Taylor’s decision by saying, “That’s what I’ll always respect about her, that innate strength and wisdom. If you’re an artist and you make things, it’s yours at the end of the day, so own it.”
Swift’s interview with Tracy Smith is scheduled to be aired this Sunday.
