Cameron Boyce suffered from Epilepsy according to his family. His autopsy was performed on Monday.
The actor passed away last Saturday at he age of 20 leaving everyone that knew him devastated. Previously a spokesperson had spoken to ABC news about Cameron. They said, “The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights. But his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him”.
His family confirmed that the Cameron was suffering from epilepsy on Tuesday night to E! News. The source said, “Cameron’s tragic passing was due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing condition. And that condition was Epilepsy. We are still trying to navigate our way through this extremely heart wrenching time and continue to ask for privacy so that the family and all who knew and loved him can grieve his loss and make arrangements for his funeral. Which in and of itself is agonizing”.
Recently medical examiners also released the autopsy report for the actor. The report read, “Found unresponsive in his home”.
The examiners said while talking in the press release, “An autopsy was performed today and a cause of death was deferred pending further investigation”.
Recently, Victor Boyce, Cameron’s father, also took to Twitter to thank everyone for the support. He wrote, “I’m overwhelmed by the love and support our family has received. It really does help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can’t wake up from”.
Cameron’s Grandmother also spoke about her grandson in an interview with Tennessee ABC affiliate WATE. She said, “His nature, his loving nature. That’s his legacy. As well as his talent. He is a star. But he’s like a different kind of star. He’s a shining star in the sky. We’re grateful foe everyone who is sending us the love and the support that we need right now. Thank you”.
Debby Ryan also shared a video of the Descendants star’s acceptance speech in 2018. He talked about how is fans could use the social media to make the world a better place. He said, “It’s crazy e can Tweet whenever we want and we can use social media and Instagram and make the world a better place. Instead of a worse one which so many people use it for. We need to use what we have and make the world a a better place for other people, people who need us”.
A number of celebrities paid their tribute to Cameron on their social media. Michelle Obama also wrote some kind words for the departed on her Instagram. She wrote, “I was lucky enough to share a few moments with Cameron Boyce on set at the White House and on a service project. Enough time to recognize that not only did he have incredible talent, but also an incredible heart. Sending out a lot of love and hugs to his family, friends and his many, many fans”.
Cameron’s latest movie Descendants 3 will be released in August.
