Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony. The couple started dating in 2015.
The couple looked very happy as they entered the reception. Brittany stunned in a strapless white mermaid gown. She held her bridal bouquet as she and her husband entered the reception. The wedding reception took place on the grounds of the Kentucky Castle, in Versailles.
Brittany’s dress had multiple features. It included a detachable overskirt, sleeves, and veil. The garter was made from her mom’s wedding dress, serving as something old and something borrowed. Meanwhile, she wore her new blue shoes from Paris. The shoes served as something new and something blue. The couple exchanged wedding bands by Kyle Chan.

The happily married couple posed for selfies with guests throughout the event. They proved to be great hosts. They spent the evening closely interacting with friends and family.
Friends and Family
240 guests attended the wedding. Guests in attendance included Kentucky local Larry Burkhead, Bravo fam Randall Emmett, Lala Kent, Tom Sandoval, Stassi Schroeder, Beau Clark, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix and Scheana Shay.
Brittany had 12 bridesmaids. They wore blue dresses from Wtoo by Watters, while the 13 groomsmen wore Jack Victor. The couple gifted the bridesmaid’s slippers, sleep masks and more from the Victoria’s Secret Bridal Collection. The groomsmen were gifted Givenchy sunglasses by Trendsavvy.
Lance Bass officiated the wedding ceremony. The couple and Bass also had an NSYNC singalong during the reception. They sang and danced along to Bye Bye Bye. Taylor and Bass are business partners in a few ventures, including Just Add X non-alcoholic mixers.
Brittany said, “He’s become one of our really, really great friends, and he has really stepped up for us in this moment when we needed somebody. He stepped up and is such a nice, kind person.”
The couple’s parents
Brittany’s father gave the couple his blessing.
The bride said, “I wanted to make sure that even though we weren’t having a pastor officiate the wedding that my religion was still very much involved, and Jax’s as well.”
At the ceremony, one seat in the front row was left vacant for Taylor’s late father. A framed picture of his dad looked towards his son tying the knot along with flowers and his ashes. Taylor’s father, Ronald Cauchi, died of cancer in December 2017. The couple gave a tribute to Taylor’s late father and Brittany’s late grandfather. It read, “We know you’d be here today if heaven wasn’t so far away.”
Taylor opened up about the presence of his parents at his wedding.
He said, “It’s really, obviously bittersweet. My parents won’t be there. That’s just the hard part about it, but it’s obviously a big day in both of our lives. We’re both very, very excited. I’m very excited. We’re eager to get going.”
The wedding of the year
The menu for the wedding reception included wedge salads in ranch dressing and crispy bacon. Dinner options included filet mignon, chicken cordon bleu or exotic mushroom ravioli Along with the wedding cake, a fire pit for s’mores made the guests happy. The guests toasted the couple with blue champagne, matching with the bridesmaid’s dresses.
The reception ended at midnight. However, an after party began in the castle after the official reception.
A guest told DailyMail, “This was the wedding of the year. Everyone had a blast, and Jax and Brittany pulled out all the stops to make it a really special night for everyone.”
Not only did the couple enter the reception happily but their exit left guests and fans amazed. The couple exit from the reception under a sea of lit sparklers, carrying their dogs Kingsley and Monroe.
Ups and downs
Brittany and Taylor began dating in 2015. However, in 2017 Jax admitted to cheating on Brittany. Nonetheless, Brittany forgave him. The couple got engaged in June 2018.
Cartwright told PEOPLE before her marriage, “It feels amazing. We’re stronger and happier than we’ve ever been. We’ve been through a lot, but we came out on the other side. I feel like we’ve just gotten stronger and stronger.”
Taylor said, “We know we love each other. We know we want to be together. We’re just really excited. Just really happy with where we are right now.”
The couple will be returning to their new home in Los Angeles to plan their honeymoon.
