Beyonce’s new Netflix documentary ‘Homecoming’ has sent the internet into a total spiral. The documentary is based on the epic Beychella performance.

Beyonce’s legendary Coachella performance, which had the music festival titled Beychella, has now become a documentary titled Homecoming. The documentary is set to release on April 17, and was teased by Netflix over the weekend with a simple poster which read Homecoming in Greek letters.

The streaming service then dropped a full trailer on Monday, describing the documentary as “an intimate look at Beyoncé’s historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities”. Netflix also said the film will be “interspersed with candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision.”

Homecoming is the name of a program that Beyonce launched officially called the ‘Homecoming Scholars Award Program’ in which four Historically Black Colleges and Universities were provided $25,000 scholarships for students of their choice.
