Supermodel Bella Hadid denies she ever had plastic surgery or fillers

by Nayab

Supermodel Bella Hadid has crushed all rumors saying she had plastic surgery and had fillers inserted in her face. The Internet has been abuzz with people comparing before and after photos of the model, insisting that she got a nose job and also had cheek fillers put in.

Bella simply said it is not true because she would never want to ‘mess up’ her face.

She spoke to Instyle, saying, “People think I got all this surgery or did this or that. And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling. I’m scared of putting fillers into my lips. I wouldn’t want to mess up my face. People think I’m very confident, but I really had to learn how to be.” The leggy model then went on to talk about her self-esteem issues which started from a young age.

Bella admitted that she grew up feeling very ashamed of her ‘big hips’ and ‘weird face’. She was also bullied quite a bit in school and that added to her low self-confidence. Apparently, she was bullied because kids in her school didn’t like her unique features, the same ones which have made her one of the most sought after models in the industry.

Speaking of the industry, she also added that she used to feel more awkward and self-conscious when she was her sister, Gigi. “I had a small waist and big hips and was kind of chubby. I love them now, but I was always self-conscious of my hips—whereas my sister had a six-pack and was very athletic,” she said. Gigi might have had more conventional features, but Bella now knows hers are in a league of their own. She is now proud of her face and body.

Her statement, however, has not been taken well.

The model is being criticized for lying about not having any work done on her face.

Bella said she was finally able to embrace herself when she was 21. It took her a ‘long time to learn not to listen’. She often just disconnects, literally. The popular model turns off her cellphone and spends time with people who she is happy being around. This way, she feels accepted and loved. She also revealed that she has to read a lot of hate comments coming from unknown people online.

“They are usually coming more for my character than for my face, which is more hurtful,” she said about the haters. A short while ago, a fan account uploaded a picture of Bella and Kendall Jenner. The girls looked happy and pretty. However, the account chose to go the troll route and captioned it with spiteful words. Both models were accused of having plastic surgery done and being ‘fake’, something Bella took personally.

She replied by saying she wished the account owner actually knew her and Kendall. The sassy queen ended her reply with a firm statement, writing, “Jealousy is a cry for help that I wish I could help you with.”

Asides from it being a great clap back, Bella clearly proved that she won’t take any nonsense from haters who lash out at her personality especially when they don’t know her.

Attacks like these also sent her into severe depression earlier in 2017. She revealed that her low period probably came from when she was younger and used to be bullied. More than anything, however, she wanted everyone to know that she also suffers from issues in the same way they do. She also advised everyone to just ‘be yourself and love yourself’, because that’s the best way to fight haters!
