Yes, ‘Chicago’ like the city, which is also Kanye West’s hometown. Kim has not confirmed whether she named her baby Chicago because of that familial connection.

Fans were speculating that the child would be named after Louis Vuitton after Kim posted an unexplained close-up picture of the designer’s print on her Instagram account.

Rumors circulated that the little girl would be named ‘Louis’ or ‘Vuitton’ or maybe both!

However, this would have totally gone against Kim’s vibe. She spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about names earlier, saying “Short, easy to spell, one syllable, that’s my kind of vibe.”

She and Kanye have definitely broken the mold with all their children’s names. North, Saint and now Chicago are spectacularly different and unrelated, in keeping with the family’s preferences.
