Ashton Kutcher admits he was ‘freaked out’ about his fingerprints after his ex-girlfriend was murdered the night of their date. Kutcher testified against the Hollywood Ripper.
Actor Ashton Kutcher recently talked about his ex-girlfriend who was murdered by the Hollywood Ripper in 2001. He admits that he was “screwed up” the night his girlfriend Ashley Ellerin was killed. The couple was supposed to go out on a date. However, Kutcher arrived late to pick Ellerin up for a Grammys after-party, but she didn’t answer.
Kutcher was “freaked out” after he found out about the murder. He thought he would be a suspect because his fingerprints were on the door.
Ashton Kutcher assumed Ellerin went out without him
41-year-old Kutcher believed that he thought he screwed up his chances with the woman when he knocked on her door and she didn’t answer as planned. She was not answering his phone calls as well. Kutcher, who also said he tried to “jiggle the doorknob” had pushed back the time of their date, so he assumed she went out without him.
Red wine or Blood
However, before he left Kutcher looked through the window and noticed that the lights were on. It appeared messy. He saw what he thought was red wine spilled on the floor (actually blood). Prosecutors said that Gargiulo had snuck into Ellerin’s apartment and stabbed her 47 times. Her roommate discovered her body the next morning.
Gargiulo is also accused of killing Maria Bruno. He stabbed her as she slept in 2005. He also allegedly attacked another woman in L.A. in 2008 but she survived. Prosecutors have said he had a history of stalking and attacking women.
Gargiulo was arrested in 2008 and is also facing murder charges in Illinois for the death of 18-year-old Tricia Pacaccio in 1993.
