Olivia Colman named in the Queen’s birthday honors 2019 list. Colman is to be made a CBE, and other stars are on the list as well.
In the Queen’s birthday honors, a CBE has been awarded to 45-year-old Colman. The actress recently starred as the British monarch, Queen Anne in the movie The Favorite. She won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for her role.
Colman mentioned that she was “thrilled, delighted and humbled to be in the company of these incredible people, most of whom have been nowhere near as visible as I have, but should be”.

Olivia Colman will also be starring as the current British monarch in the new season of The Crown on Netflix. She has been honored under her real name, Sarah Sinclair.

Queen’s Honor List
Other celebrities and artists are also on this list. The inventor of Tunnock’s Teacake, Archibald Boyd Tunnock, has been knighted. The 86-year-old said, “When you get to my age, very few things surprise you but this certainly did and I am deeply honored and grateful to Her Majesty the Queen.”
British adventurer Bear Grylls has been made an OBE for his charity work. He was also delighted and said, “This really is a huge honor and it’s something, if I’m honest, that I never expected to happen. But I really do feel it’s a team effort, this award is for every one of those incredible Scout volunteers.”
Famous stage actor Simon Russell Beale has also been knighted and said, “I think my mother, were she alive, would be very proud.”
Furthermore, other people on the list include Cush Jumbo, Sheila Atim, Elvis Costello, M.I.A, Rachel Whiteread and others.
More than 1000 people are part of the Queen’s honor list.
