32-year-old plus size model, Tess Holliday, shared a throwback photo on her Instagram story of her as a 14-year-old, and wished she could tell her younger self how happy she would be in the future!
The fashion and modeling world has arguably set unfair beauty standards. However, strong and powerful women like Tess Holliday are putting an end to these standards and are promoting body positivity.
Tess is a popular and successful plus size model who works for a swimsuit line called Alpine Butterfly. The swimwear brand specifically caters to women of sizes L to 5X.
Tess shared a throwback photo of herself on her Instagram story. She was only 14 at that time. The size 22 model is sporting a white shirt with a cute hairband on her head in the photo. Along with her picture as a teenager, Tess also uploaded a picture of herself as a successful plus size swimsuit model, which she is now.
In the other picture, Tess is flaunting a two-piece floral blue swimsuit.
The picture is captioned, “I wish someone would have told me that I would be living my dream & EVEN FATTER BUT HAPPY!”

Tess is very active on social media and regularly posts on her Instagram account. The mother of two recently shot for the new campaign of her swimwear company and said she felt like a complete princess!
Tess posted, “The campaign I shot for @alpinebutterflyswim launched today & has me falling in love with myself even more… feeling like a 60’s princess.”
