Justin Bieber is undoubtedly one of the most popular singers of the world! And recently, he became the first ever musician to have his 3 songs reach more than one billion streams on the popular music network, Spotify.
It has been a long time since Bieber last released a new song and there are no signs of him releasing a new album any time soon either, however, ‘Baby’ singer still managed to have an amazing week on Spotify!
The 23-year-old musician is at the top of his career and there is no stopping him!
His single ‘Love Yourself’ and his collaboration with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, ‘Despacito’, just crossed one billion stream on Spotify, making him the only singer to have three songs that surpassed one billion streams.
Both of these songs are one of the most popular tracks of all time on the popular music network, Spotify.
These two tracks joined his other mega hit, ‘Sorry’, which became the fifth songs to cross one billion streams on the website in 2017.
Justin Bieber passed Ed Sheeran who was the only artist to have more than one songs that cross the billion-plus club. But Bieber joined him this week and then quickly passed him.
All three of these tracks spent at least one week at the top spot in the U.S and were massive global hits. Two of them ‘Sorry’ and ‘Love Yourself’ were the part of his last album, Purpose. However, ‘Despacito’ is not a part of any album.
It should be noted that ‘Despacito’ is the only Latin hit that crossed the mark of one billion streams on Spotify.
The impressive thing is that Bieber’s two songs ‘Let Me Love You’ and ‘What Do You Mean?’ are close to passing 900 million streams. It means Justin Bieber will soon become the only musician to have five songs hitting the spot of one billion streams!
