With Harry Styles’ Divided Tour, the surprises just won’t stop coming! During his concert in Copenhagen on Monday, the ex-One Direction bandmate surprised fans by singing his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s song lyrics!
Taylor Swift and Harry Styles dated briefly back in 2012, so naturally, fans went wild when the ‘Anna’ singer belted out Swift’s lyrics from the song ‘22′ in response to a fan whose birthday it was that day.
Five years after the couple’s breakup, Styles’ let slip the lyrics, “I don’t know about you but I’m feeling…” when his fan, Thea, said that she was turning 22. He also told the excited fan that once had a cat named Thea. Watch a video of the exchange below:

The two singers had a brief relationship from October 2012 to January 2013 and, much to their fans’ delight, both have made references to it in their songs. Taylor has been known to write about her relationships and breakups in her lyrics, hence fans speculated that songs ‘Out of the Woods’ and ‘Style’ were about Harry.
Harry Styles later also revealed that one of the songs on his self-titled album was about the ‘1989′ singer.
Harry spoke about his relationship with the blonde beauty to Rolling Stone magazine back in 2017.
“I think: Relationships are hard, at any age. And adding in that you don’t really understand exactly how it works when you’re 18, trying to navigate all that stuff didn’t make it easier. I mean, you’re a little bit awkward to begin with.” he admitted.
Like any young adult, Harry voiced that he just wanted his date with Taylor to be “normal” and that his relationship with her was a “learning experience”.
He also expressed that everyone writes from their experiences and relationships and appreciated Taylor’s songs, regardless of whether they were about him or not.
When he was asked by Rolling Stone about what he would like to say to Swift now, ‘The Sign of the Times’ crooner said the following:
“Certain things don’t work out. There’s a lot of things that can be right, and it’s still wrong. In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together. You’re celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you feel something, rather than ‘this didn’t work out, and that’s bad.’ And if you run into that person, maybe it’s awkward, maybe you have to get drunk … but you shared something. Meeting someone new, sharing those experiences, it’s the best sh*t ever. So thank you.”
Just a few days ago, Harry unveiled two new songs, ‘Anna’ and ‘Medicine’, on his tour. He also alluded to his bisexual nature in one of the songs. Keep the surprises coming, Harry; we’re on the edge of our seats.
Harry Styles’ Divided Tour continues through mid-April in Europe. He will perform in the U.S. on June 5th.
