Are you secretly a Disney princess? Do you wake up to the sound of enchanted squirrels; do talking mice help you get dressed? If so, you’re in luck! There’s a real life Disney prince out there now and he looks exactly like Prince Adam from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!
26-year-old Jeffrey Kendall shares a super uncanny resemblance to Prince Adam. And what’s more, he’s always been a prince-in-waiting. Jeffrey transformed when he lost a lot of weight and became a dead ringer for the Disney prince. Fans have flocked to his Instagram account where he’s been posting pictures of his new look, complete with luscious locks that are making us jealous.
Jeffrey loves his hair and his fans love it too! They’ve been complimenting his hard work and dedication. And he loves the comments! He responded, saying, “[The Disney comparison] “is the most lovely compliment I could ever hear.”
The aspiring model even brought Prince Adam to life by cosplaying the handsome prince on his Instagram. He posted himself dressed in clothes meant for medieval royalty, his long locks gracing his shoulder. Jeffery looked every inch the royal and fans were not disappointed at all. One fan even commented saying, “You are already famous in Poland, they call you Prince Adam.”
However, Jeffrey didn’t always feel like a prince. Prior to his miraculous transformation, he was battling depression and severe self-esteem issues. He was by no means terrible looking, but he was definitely not as fit and healthy as he is now. The lackluster prince was living with his mother in Connecticut after she suffered a traumatic brain injury some years ago.
He wasn’t interested in fitness or exercise, until a friend of his convinced him to join the gym with him. The friend was heartbroken and trying to improve his own emotional state. Curious, Jeffrey joined with him and then slowly started to fall in love with the concepts of exercise and self-love.
As he continued down this path, he also discovered yoga through YouTube, and this final decision changed his life. He learned how to do yoga with Yoga with Adriene, who teaches online. Jeffrey said,“[I found] a wonderful platform for self-love through her yoga videos and a wonderful workout.”
He was hooked!
He then dropped 70 pounds and picked up the art of self-love: he was a changed man! In his own words, he’s lost “a lot of weight, a lot of sadness, and a little facial hair.” His family, friends, and fans all over the Internet have been extremely supportive throughout his journey and he feels grateful and loved.
Jeffrey is now going to take up modeling and all his fans are behind him! We wish the real-life Prince Adam good luck in his future endeavors.
