It’s official! Jackie Chan and Chirs Tucker have confirmed the making of Rush Hour 4, and fans cannot keep their chill!
There are some movies that form a core part of one’s childhood, the ones that you rewatch again and again because they never get old. Movies like The Home Alone series, Baby’s Day Out and Rush Hour never fail to entertain.
Well, good news for all the Rush Hour fans! The 4th sequel of the movie has been confirmed!
While Jackie Chan had already agreed to this last year, Chris Tucker was originally not on board. Now, however, both the stars are in!
Jackie Chan revealed last year, “For the last seven years, we’ve been turning down the script, but yesterday, we agreed. The script, probably at the end of this month, will have a second draft and next year, [we’ll] probably start. If… Chris Tucker agrees.”
Chris appeared on ESPN’s podcast, The Plug, and dished on the making of Rush Hour 4. The host inquired whether there was ever a possibility of him and Jackie Chan sharing the big screen again for a Rush Hour movie.
To this, he responded, “It’s happening. This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”
The movie is said to be set in Moscow. As for fans on Twitter, they just could not contain their excitement upon hearing about the making of the fourth part of their all-time favorite movies.
One fan said, “THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE.”
Another one excitedly posted, “Rush Hour 4 confirmed my life is complete.”
Another wrote, “Rush Hour 4’s happening. Best thing I’ve heard all day.”
