Taylor Swift Reveals Her Mother Has A Brain Tumor
Andrea Swift was first diagnosed with cancer in 2015. Her daughter, Taylor Swift has now revealed that the cancer has returned for a second time.

Taylor Swift reveals that her mother, Andrea Swift’s. cancer is back. The singer first revealed her mother had cancer in 2015.

The 30-year-old singer opened up to Variety about her mother’s diagnosis. She said, “Everyone loves their mom; everyone’s got an important mom. But for me, she’s really the guiding force. Almost every decision I make, I talk to her about it first. So obviously it was a really big deal to ever speak about her illness.”

The Lover singer also added, “She was going through chemo, and that’s a hard enough thing for a person to go through.”

“While she was going through treatment, they found a brain tumor,” Taylor Swift further said. “And the symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we’ve ever been through with her cancer before. So it’s just been a really hard time for us as a family.”

Swift also mentioned that she will be limiting her Lover tour to spend more time with her mother. Saying, “I mean, we don’t know what is going to happen. We don’t know what treatment we’re going to choose. It just was the decision to make at the time, for right now, for what’s going on.”

Taylor Swift’s documentary Miss Americana will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on 23 January. It will be available on Netflix from January 31.
