Meghan Markle’s jewelry choices at the U.S. Open Women’s Finals match was a subtle gesture for Prince Harry. The jewelry maker has gushed about the Duchess wearing her character.
Markle was present at the U.S. Open final to support friend Serena Williams. The Duchess of Sussex dressed up in a denim J. Crew dress with a grey cardigan.
She paired the casual look with 2 dog tag necklaces by Mini Mini Jewels. One of the $124 per piece, 14 karat necklaces, had an ‘M’ initial and the other had an ‘H’ for Prince Harry. Markle also reportedly has a third necklace with an ‘A’ on it to represent her son Prince Archie.
Meghan also has two gold and diamond rings from the brand. They also have an ‘M’ and an ‘H’ on them. The rings are sold for $249 each.
The designer Tracey Kahn told PEOPLE, “We are beyond thrilled, it’s been such an exciting day for us and we love Meghan, we were all hoping she would wear some of our pieces in public and now she has! They are so delicate and tasteful, they really suit her style.”
Stylist Jessica Mulroney chose Meghan Markle’s jewelry for her. Kahn said, “Jessica is a huge fan of ours and it was through her that Meghan heard about us. We sent her a few of our initial pieces because we thought she might like them and then of all of sudden we saw them on her and we couldn’t believe it!”
Kahn said Markle wearing her jewelry has made the orders fly in. She said, “It’s been crazy, we’ve had orders from all over the world. It’s just so cool, we’re buzzing right now and we couldn’t be happier.”
19 year old Bianca Andreescu won the finals against Serena Williams.
