On Sunday, Kim and Kendall presented the Competition Programme award at the 2019 Emmy’s being held at Microsoft Theatre in LA.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s stars looked stunning in floor length gowns. Kim was wearing a black Vivienne Westwood gown and her sister wore Richard Quinn.

Kim said, “Our family knows first hand how truly compelling television comes from real people, just being themselves.” The audience then started laughing, and laughed over Kendall’s line. The 23 year old model was heard saying, “Telling their stories, unfiltered and unscripted.”

Kendall kind of rolled her eyes at the crowd at the laughs, and the audience at home picked up on it. One person wrote, “Kendall’s side eye when the audience laughed at the ‘real stories’ line was…tough to witness. #emmys.”

Watch the awkward moment right here:

One person wrote online, “The crowd’s reaction to Kim Kardashian saying reality shows were just “real people living their lives unscripted” could not have been more perfect. #unscriptedlaughter #emmys.”

Another wrote, “Eeeek. There was a very loud laugh from the audience when Kim Kardashian was presenting. Laughing at her; not with her. It was uncomfortable (and, in my opinion, uncalled for) in the room. #Emmys.”

This was Kim’s third time at the Emmy’s. She told E! on the red carpet, “I was just looking back at footage and I came in like 2009 and sang this little bit about reality shows with Jimmy Fallon when he hosted and it was super embarrassing.”
