Justin Bieber Diagnosed with Lyme Disease and Chronic Mono
Justin Bieber recently dropped his latest single Yummy, which is his first single in almost 5 years. The artist received a lot of backlash over the song.

Justin Bieber has confirmed that he is battling with Lyme disease. The singer will open up about his struggle in his new docu-series.

The Yummy singer will release his 10-part docu-series on YouTube Originals called Justin Bieber: Seasons on January 27. After TMZ reported the news regarding Bieber’s diagnosis, the singer confirmed his illness on Instagram.

Posting a screenshot of TMZ’s article, the 25-year-old singer wrote, “While a lot of people kept saying justin Bieber looks like shit, on meth etc. they failed to realize I’ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health.”

Justin Bieber further confirmed that he will be opening up about his illness in his upcoming docu-series. Adding, “These things will be explained further in a docu series I’m putting on YouTube shortly.. you can learn all that I’ve been battling and OVERCOMING!! It’s been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever NO CAP.”

The Sorry singers wife Hailey Baldwin-Bieber defended her husbands diagnosis on Twitter. She wrote, “For those who are trying to downplay the severity of Lyme disease. Please do your research and listen to the stories of people who have suffered with it for years. Making fun of and belittling a disease you don’t understand is never the way, all it takes is educating yourself.”

Furthermore, she thanked her friend Gigi Hadid and singer Avril Lavigne for “bringing so much clarity and information on Lyme disease and for helping answer questions about course of action, symptoms etc.”
