Rapper Jeezy and his girlfriend, co-host of The Real – Jeannie Mai – made their relationship official on Instagram after dating for a year quietly. Recently, Jeannie Mae talked about her fantastic relationship with Jeezy.
It was at the opening of the latest season of ‘The Real’ where Jeannie Mai finally talked about her relationship with Jeezy. She is totally blown away by Jeezy and said that their romance is ‘one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.’ She further added that she had found her equal in Jeezy.
Jeezy and his girlfriend began dating secretly back in November 2018. Rumors of them dating started surfacing around the spring of 2019. However, Jeezy and his girlfriend went public on August 22 at Atlanta’s inaugural SnoBall Gala.
Jeannie Mai is 41-years-old and refers to Jeezy as ‘J.’ She says that her J is a cerebral person and a deep thinker. She said, ‘I have to tell you getting to know J — you guys know him as Jeezy, he’s J to me — has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. He’s introspective. He’s passionate. He’s incredibly deep. He’s a visionary. He’s a great leader. He’s an amazing servant to his community.’ After saying this, it was obvious that the co-host of The Real was blushing hard.
Jeannie Mai further said, ‘What’s crazy is that the things that I’ve been criticized for my whole life and in my past relationships — ‘Jeannie, you’re too deep; you think about things too much — like why’s everything gotta have a purpose?’” she said. “And I’m not one for small talk or small conversations. I wanna know, ‘Why do you think the way you do? What brought you to look at things the way you do? Who are you? Who’s important to you?’ And I found my equal.’ This statement was well-received by the audience that cheered quite generously.
It was also revealed that the couple was introduced to one another at the set of ‘The Real’ during November of 2018. The very first date that Jeezy and his girlfriend, Jennai Mai, went on to was all about an ‘amazing deep talk about our greatest lessons in life, our greatest mistakes; it was super vulnerable.’
The date concluded in a unique way too. Jeannie Mai says, ‘He looks at me, he goes, ‘Can I give you a homework assignment?’…I want you to think about the last eight hours we spent together. And think about what do you envision us doing together? What do you picture me being in your life? If this matches my notes, I will pursue you. If not, we’re cool to be friends.’
